About the Author

Originally a Florida native, Jamie Piastuch graduated college with an anthropology and religion degree in 2009 hoping to pursue a career as an academic professor. The recession proved to have other plans for her, and she struggled through the blue-collar world realizing that the best way to observe our culture today is to stand on this side of the bar serving drinks. She is now a rarified female brewer in North Carolina, living in her van with her pups and fulfilling her childhood dream of becoming a published writer.
